I love the style as in the fighting, costume design and environmental layouts, but to me some stuff doesn't look good in Anime, or the idea pisses me off as in Wolverine being done in anime... to each their own I guess
Nothing wrong with that. I just prefer to let a show stand on its own before I call it bad(and by no means am I a fan of Wolverine's anime or Ironman's). The region that made it doesn't determine that. I'm just sick of people automaticly assuming things are what they aren't ethnicity-wise. After the last Airbender fiasco reached such public heights, someone has got to start stating the truth of the matter before this new wave of everyone in anime or what they think is anime = asian ruins all future licenses or movies. Or that anime has one solid universal style when so much anime proves otherwise. (DBZ, One Piece, Hello Kitty, Shin Chan, Panda-Z, Astroboy, Dead Leaves, Clamp's work, Big O, Aeon Flux, and many many many others. Each artist has their own style, some tend to the poppy standard that many think anime only is, and others vary widely as much as american artists use a wide array of personal flair styles.) So yeah, I can see why you dislike the wolverine and Ironman ones, but don't just pigeon-hole anime as a one trick pony. Just like you shouldn't pigeon hole american animation or European either. Also, you only listed the more or less mainstream kid audiences anime(barring a few of the classics). You should broaden your horizons with some of the modern pioneers aimed more at your age range that vary in style. Then you might get a bigger appreciation for it as just a medium to convey a story and not about where it's from(the kid stuff tends to be fluffy teamwork, burning heart of justice type drivel, whereas older demographic shows are more realistic to what would really happen in these situations, or is just wildly psychadelic). The same could be said about all shores. (Sorry, I'm only bitchy on this topic from years of dealing with the fandoms of both sides, and both have superiority complexes instead of just looking at it for what it is. All animation, anime or otherwise is just a medium to convey a story and how well they do that within the confines of the designs, scripts, and acting is what determines how good or bad it is. You also need to factor in intended age demographics. Some stuff is for adults, some is for kids, on all shores.)

I'm no anime fanboy, but I also don't limit what I watch to just one shore. I just like what I like, where it's from is moot so long as it's good.

Also not to nitpick, but the quote in your sig. It should be "It's not a Doll, It's called an action figure get it right." Action Figures are still toys. Though many prefer collectibles these days. Not to nitpick you, just everytime I see that I keep scratching my head. xD
