The whole concept is not too impressive to me. I think this should be the one and only contest like this, as I don't like the points and "level". It takes away from the "genuine posts" and as one member said (I don't remember who exactly), it's making it a game.

I'm definitely in the same boat. I just logged in right now and had this message telling me about the multiple ways a person can be warned and eventually banned and it takes the fun out of the casual nature of this website. I go here for news and to talk my fave hobby with the fellow members here.

And I do think it will make people "edgy" as mentioned earlier on here. It'll make some people overthink when they post to the point where it might be a hassle and they'd rather not post instead. For example, I've deleted and rewritten this very post twice just to avoid "saying anything wrong."

Prizes and contests are fine, but not for one that dissects what everyone says and awards points and achievements based on people's conversations.

I don't see visiting this board as a game or competition. I see it as an escape and chance to relax from the real life games and competitions we have to deal with everyday.
