My question to hasbro is it seems in a lot of cases MU is surpassing ML in sculpt/detail but lacking in articulation, stands, weapons, alternate hands/headsculpts, are we ever going to see a MU figure that has moving fingers, like a 3 point digit system for the hands to be fully posably, I want Iron man to be able to flip the bird to Cap, or for hawkeye to hold an arrow! I would kill for some articulated 1/18th scale hands, I'd repaint them no biggy, anybody else tired of a closed fist or stupid hand gesture pose?
I appreciate what you're saying here about detail and articulation but I think asking for full hand articulation on figures this size is both impossible and a recipe for QC meltdowns. They'd just be far too fragile, not to mention subject to ugly joint issues.
What we are getting with figures like the new Dr. Strange is ideal in my view. Having both a swivel and pivot in the wrists opens up more than enough possibilities for posing a four inch figure. Perhaps some figures could benefit from swappable hands too, much like the DBZ Hybrid Action series of figures. Any further than that though and I think it verges into undesirable and expensive territory.
