I found that taking a sharp (but small) exacto blade to the underside of the MU torso will seperate the torso. If you do this on both sides you can remove the shoulders easily. Once you have the bottom open, you can put the blade in the seam above the shoulder upt to the neck. Doing this loosens the seam and allows you to 'pop' the upper torso with a small jeweler's screwdriver.
