I was able to under cut BBTS and EBAY prices for people, get about what I paid for and help some fellow collectors fill in some gaps. I consider that a win win in my book.
I have several peices in my collection that I would be happy just to get back my initail investment on. Not that i was buying for resale, just after a while you end up with too much stuff. Especially with transformers. Right before all of the reissues started popping up the prices were rediculous.

In a few years once the next big thing comes out the prices will drop and I'll be able to pick them up loose for cheap. I find loose cheap older figures at the local comic shop all the time for under $5. It's nice grabbing Marvel Legends and the older 5" figures that way.
I recently went to a secondary market collector store that sells loose MU figs for $7 and up. I almost fainted. I was thinking $5 max. I didn't even bother looking at the larger loose toys. What ever happened to a loose fig not being more money than it is at retail carded. Just because they want to charge $15 for something that costs $7 doesn't mean it's worth half of there price once its opened.
