So yeah, Lego has basically got THE perfect construction toy and has become increasingly more popular especially with the introduction of its movie/tv themed lines...

In the last few months it seems that other construction toys that are BLATANTLY ripping off Lego have popped up. We've got this Kre-o stuff that's got a series of constructible Transformers, the Doctor Who "Character Building" sets. And not to mention the biggest Rival, Megabloks.

The Minifigures line that Lego came out with seems to be quite a craze seeing as Megabloks got in on the action with the Halo figures, and now Marvel ones... then the Doctor Who ones showed up and today I saw the most blatant ripoff because the figures were actually the same mould.

Surely Lego should enforce some kind of action against this copying? I know that they designed all sorts of other bricks and had them patented so that they couldn't be copied but this recent surge of ripoffs has left me wonderiing what is going on.

Thoughts?
