Only time I'm in it for the money, is when I'm selling my own figures and its usually to either pay off other bills or reinvest in "better" toys, more oriented to my collection. Like a lot of us, I grew up collecting all kinda of toys from gi joes, batman, transformers, beastwars, spiderman, mcfarlane sports, spawn, ghostbusters,robocop,terminator, marvel, etc I've sold most of my toys I had as a kid and some of it would be worth $$ now, but most if it is easily attainable through ebay. Ebay is a big factor in low value, as it's hard for a comic shop owner to sell an item for double when you can buy it now for retail price online or cheaper.
