Your money, your choice. Simple as that. Doesn't matter if you're a collector, trader or scalper.

Years ago I tried to get one opened and one sealed for toys I collected. But it got to be such a chore after a while, finding everything twice, displaying it, stoing them, etc. That, and the additional money I was spending eventually got me to decide to stop. It's just not me.

Now I open almost everything. The only things that I'll buy and not open are straight redecos of toys that I already own and if I like the character or I like the new deco. A great example would be Energon Starscream. Bought the original and opened it for my Energon display. Then later I bought the "G1 Colors" version because I liked the deco and the character, but the toy remains sealed to this day.
