Only saw them in a few issues starring OTHER heroes that I actually liked. One that stands out is a Spider-man Annual that involved Spidey and the New Warriors taking on Justin Hammer's paid hit squad of D-lister villains. Good ol' Marvel writing. The figure looks pretty good though. So I guess it's just going to be a head sculpt thing?
That storyline you are refering to is called "hero killer" and it is one of my favorite stories of all time, Sphinx is the main bad guy along with Hammer's goons: Rhino, Constrictor, Speed Demon, et al. I am a huge New Warrior Mark and have all the issues and most of the spin off titles like Night Thrasher, Darkhawk, & Nova, so I'm amped to be getting Nova next year and if they make a classic I'd be all over that. New warrior figures are something of a holy grail for me and Darkhawk is one of the reasons I decided to jump on board the MarvelU train. CHOO! CHOO!
