I guess that is why Christopher Nolan is only willing to make a total of three films. I sincerely think that he will come up with something amazing and give us some closure, but the entertainment phenomenon that was/is The Dark Knight had so much going for it that it had to become huge, iconic, and almost unmeasurable. The tragedy of Ledger's death, the cast, the beautiful cinematography, it had so much going for it. In Chicago I learned that the shot where a semi-trailer was flipped down a street was practically a miracle to pull off - the street doesn't even allow those kind of trucks to drive on it, but the city permitted the film to flip one. They were allowed one take - at 4 A.M. EPIC.
