So a good many of you say you'll pretty much never really retire.....

Sure it's a nice hobby, but I'm sure if you guys had to ditch the collecting hobby and basically go into forced retirement or just finally realize that they are toys after all and they just sit around if you don't play with them why spend anymore money on it?

For some reason I can see some of you Marvel Universe collectors in your 60's going OH MAN THEY FINALLY RELEASED THAT CHARACTER?!! AND I'VE BEEN WAITING ALL THESE YEARS FOR IT!

[Another good reason for those of you collecting to retire is that well at some point in your life you'll eventually out grow toys, even the collectible stuff and more pressing life issues will take over]
You make a very good point... I mean, I have no idea what will happen in the future. I may decide the quality of merchandise out there isn't worth my effort any longer, or that the current status of my life may change to an extent that I have to redefine what's important to me.

Nothing is ever set in stone. But if I was given the choice, as long as it remains something that makes me happy, I would happily keep on collecting.
