The thing paid for itself the first day I got it and read about 60 comics( 60 x $2= $120 versus buying old trades or collecting old issues) Even if you aren't into the older stuff, it stays fairly up to date with all the big stuff thats happened in the last few years. While I don't want to fuel the fire of the pirating issue here, or even see yet another argument about it, I do have to say that the online Marvel subscription sucks bad. 'Fairly up to date' is anything older than 6 months, save an issue or two. That's nowhere near up to date. Plus you have to use their app in most cases, and they don't let you even clip your favorite panels for screensavers, etc. As much as they're putting a half-assed effort into putting digital comics out there, it's still just a half-assed effort.
