I feel exactly the opposite here. I think his overall story arcs are intricately woven, and practically genious. I'm feeling there are things that were set up in his first season that we still haven't seen the payoff too, or even aware of. (Such as the references to The Silence. Didn't even know those were there until recently)

I'm inclined to agree. In fact, I'm feeling that the eleventh doctor's story may soon be coming to an end. (Maybe Smith's contract is coming up soon, and they're setting a jumping off point if he does?)
