Believe it or not, I spent about 3 hours last night looking for this for you.
I believe that I found it at one point, but I had originally overlooked the part about the dancefloor.
Once I came back and re-read your post, and noticed the part about the dancefloor, I spent another hour or so trying to go back through the google searches I'd already done.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it again.

I remember it specifically said that one of the characters can conduct the band and they can "dance".
