He's a petty criminal imbued with the ability to physically alter his form by touching any type of material he touches. He was given this ability by Loki in order to make Creel into decent muscle to beat up on Thor. I don't think he's human any longer. He's imbued with Asgardian magic, so I'd say he's more like an Asgardian creature. Though you could say that any one version of his body really isn't his true body, since it's in a constant state of flux.
