I've been tracking eBay for the past couple months, kicking myself for laughing at the figure and it's $60 price tag when it was offered to me without having to even wait in line at SDCC this year.

It's not that I LOVE it or anything, but I'm trying to complete the X-Men of the MU figures, and obviously this fits that bill.

What's the best method of getting my hands on one? I know there's still the mail-away program on marvel.com for around $60 and three months of time, and you can pay around $90-120 for one on eBay. I've also heard that it'll be offered at NYCC, so I'm thinking about having my NYC buddy who's going get me one there and ship it back. (I'm assuming the $60 is still there, since it's a benefit of starting a membership).

What do you professional collectors recommend? What methods did you take to get this one?
Man you have three options there you mentioned yourself, that's more than most of us have. If your friend can't get you one at NYCC then order the digital comic subscription and wait. You're a big boy make up your mind. Kind of blows my mind that you had a chance to snag one and let it go. Now you're making threads that do little more than testify to your inability to make up your mind.
