Since X-Men first became successful on the big screen, more and more comics have been adapted into movies, TV shows, and cartoons.
We've even gotten some brilliant series based on fairly obscure comics, like The Walking Dead.

However, the big two, Warner Bros and Marvel only seem to think that certain characters/teams can ever successfully be adapted.

Marvel:
Spiderman
Wolverine
X-Men
Ironman
Avengers
Fantastic Four
Hulk
Punisher

-There are notable inclusions, Captain America, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther, but these have only been touched once each. Not counting those aweful cap movies of the 70s. The main list have all had multiple adaptations since the ninties. And Marvel rarely seems to touch more obscure stuff for adapting.

DC:
Superman
Batman
Justice League
Teen Titans
Watchmen
Young Justice
Green Lantern
Wonder Woman
Flash

-I'm well aware that there's a lot left off this list. I'll give it to DC, they've tried a lot more than Marvel, and it makes it difficult to remember *everything.*

DC has dipped into some more obscure stuff over Marvel, such as Young Justice, Green Lantern, and Watchmen. And they tend to use a lot more obscure characters popping up in their cartoons. But, it feels to me that DC has less faith in anything that *isn't* Superman or Batman.

Anyway, more to the point.
Both companies feel to me reluctant to explore some of their more obscure concepts, or second and third string characters to adapt into other forms of media.
I'm not one who feels *everything* can be adapted. But I do feel that both companies (and others without their resouces) have a *lot* more to offer than they'll put faith into

So, what adaptations do you think would make it big, if WB or Marvel/Fox/Sony/Disney/Whomever threw the kinds of resources into that they did for The Dark Knight, Ironman, Young Justice, JLU, Avengers: EMH, Walking Dead, ect? (By resources, I don't mean just budget, But also got real talent working on)

Top of my list-
Green Arrow: Either as a movie, TV series, Adaptation of Smallville, or animated series... I think Green Arrow would be a huge hit.

The Question: I think Question would make for a good, more mature oriented TV series. Not so sure about movie or cartoon. Make the protagonist Renee Montoya, a down-on-her-luck cop, and follow along as she's unravelling the mystery of this strange vigelante. First season poses Question almost as if he's the antagonist or villain.

The Runaways: I think would make a fantastic animated series. 'Nuff said.

Young avengers: Ditto.

X-Men Academy/New Mutants: Ditto

Captain Marvel: Could be a cool 40's period piece, as a movie. As a cartoon, I think would work really well.
