Bendis' writing was never top notch, but it just kept getting worse and worse as the issues went on. On top of that, they introduced TWO ongoing Avengers titles AND a Moon Knight book by him, all priced at $3.99?!
I love Mike Deodato's and Daniel Acuña's artwork, but the price across these books for the quality of the writing right now is not worth it at all. I ended up dropping both titles from my pull. I got sick of the weak characterization, poor dialogue, and recycled storylines. I'll pay $3.99 for some good stuff like Captain America from Ed Brubaker or Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender.
Alright, end of rant on how Marvel's handling of the Avengers book piss me off.
Ha ha...ya Uncanny X-Force was 2.99 a few issues back not sure when they kicked it up a dollar. But agreed I dropped the Avenger's right before Seige. Was getting too much, that and Wolvy was in it, but than it became ugh.
