I expect the VF-19 to look pretty much the way it does in the photo. The VF-25F did, with the exception of the canopy color...

The old VF-19 from the 90's was much thicker due to the constraints of what could be produced at the time.

With CAD and CNC machines these days, they can produce toys with nearly the same level of detail as resin kits of the garage kit days.

The VF-19 relied on quite a bit of anime magic to make it a viable variable fighter during show production. The best example of reasonable updates has to be the VF-171 where the legs were thinned out quite a bit to allow the computer to correctly transform it.

The quality of the sculpts on the VF-100 line will be far superior to what we've seen in the past I believe. Unfortunately, in some instances, the fighters will not look entirely how we've come to know them. I expect that will be due mainly to the fact that computers and AutoCAD will require them to be modified to make their posability greater.

Though one thing I noticed was that the release date for the VF-19 seems to have been changed as the VF-25 Alto Armored Messiah is now scheduled to come out in July, instead of the VF-19 Kai...
