The first day of the convention, Wednesday, featured the customization class. As we reported earlier,
Shattered Glass Thunderclash
was the character that fans got to customize this year. We were also given information on the toys and what they are regarding attendee exclusives:
Elita-1 & Razorclaw - 2000 sets
Banzai-Tron & Skyquake - 1400 sets
Set of 3 Sweeps - 1000 sets
Leozack - freebie toy
The comic featured all the characters at this year's convention, along with three characters that did not receive toys, all of which are recolors of the Energon Starscream character:
- Hellbat
- Gaihawk
- Sunstorm
Of special note, only "Hellbat" is called out by name, though our own
Sol Fury
said the other two are blatantly obvious. Adding to that,
Leozack
's personality in the comic is that of an anime-fan, as he shouts his attacks before attacking as well as random Japanese in his dialogue.
Stay tuned for even more information and pictures as
Thursday at BotCon 2009
starts up!
