Still, you raise an interesting point; 3AA has been able to command some impressive prices for their products, most of the waves of figures they release is the same mold but a flip-flop of gear and different paint apps. They also seem to go with a limited run of figures, (if you don't get it now good luck getting it later.) and regardless they are still sold out of their product. If they go the route that you are talking about which would indicate a finite product with a collectors price then $1000 would probably be too cheap. I don't know, it's all speculation and I have no idea just how these guys run their business. My guess is we will see a price for this guy before the year is out, hopefully we will be surprised at it's affordability but being a bit on the cynical side I am opting for being the kind of guy who will just collect pictures of it from the web as that is the closest I am going to get to owning one.
