Personally, I would call him for Indigo Tribe. His name has been lost to the ages (Until Moffit). And his inability to permit suffering I think trumps everything. The Doctor seems to be the ideal Indigo Tribesman. And with his personality, I think he would dominate that ring, instead of vice versa.

Most of which you've said I would have to agree with, and I find no faults in your logic as far as this character is concerned. Damn.
