The ROTF line was launched last month and since then, and some of the figures ended up being stellar. So in your opinion, what are the best ROTF toys out right now? Here are mine:
  • Leader Optimus Prime-The improved accuracy over the 1st figure, obvious through the sculpt, is amazing. Articulation is great and detail is very impressive. A very solid toy and the best figure from the main line. I just wish that the red and blue pieces were molded in the same crimson red/dark blue that TF1 Leader Prime had, and that the grey parts were either molded in silver or painted.
  • Human Alliance Bumblebee-Articulated human drivers boost playability and this version of Bumblebee is the best movie version so far. Unless Hasbro makes a Masterpiece version or updated version if a sequel is planned, this will be the definitive movie Bumblebee. It has the highest amount of detail of any movie Bumblebee figure, and manages to still retain high durability/sturdiness, and playability. This is a rare combination but Hasbro and TakaraTomy have succeeded implementing those aspects into this figure. A job well done and a very fun toy to play with. Human Alliance is my favorite ROTF subline, and one that I think is the sleeper hit of the ROTF toy line. I eagerly anticipated the next figures, and hope that G1 versions are eventually made(who would be able to resist a G1 Optimus with Sparkplug and son?). Or Daniel with exosuit and Hot Rod?
  • The Fallen-Huge for a voyager, has intricate detail, articulation is great and I prefer this figure to the way he looks in the film. A menacing figure with great qualities all around.
  • Voyager Megatron-A gimmick that actually is accurate to the film, the most accurate ROTF Megatron sculpt so far, I don't mind the green, and the range of motion is superb. There is no other movie Megatron that can recreate the poses that the voyager ROTF version can do. If it was the size of the leader version, this would be the definitive movie Megatron figure.
  • Skids and Mudflap-Hated the fact that these 2 had intentionally stupid looking faces, but after opening both, ended up appreciating them. Makes them unique and gives them a ton of personality, kind of like how the Animated figures did. Range of motion is superb on both, and to me, they are the sleeper hits of the deluxe line. I honestly thought I wouldn't think much of them, but they turned out to be awesome. I think the Human Alliance Skids will be the best, as it has more features.
So let's have it folks, what are your favorite ROTF toys?
