Not embarrassed one bit. I have a great outlet for creativity and imagination with collecting. When I show folks who don't "get it" some of my customs they understand a bit more i think.

I think as long as you are willing to take the time to casually educate non collectors they tend to be receptive.

But then again, who's gonna tell the 6 foot 7, 330 pound dude buying new toys he should be ashamed?.............
