Especially now that digital is beginning to really sink in. People who just wanted to read that story can for much cheaper and don't have to worry about storage or resale, so there's a potentially huge loss of customers who buy older books out there. I think the only way you can really get rid of them is either selling your entire collection to someplace like Mile High Comics or just flat-out donating them to a children's hospital for charity.

Donating them could be a good route to take, but if they're going to a children's hospital be careful what you're handing over. You don't want to accidentally give some kid a copy of The Boys - Herogasm #2 or something. Anyway, if you really want to unload them because they're taking up too much space or something, maybe you can give them to Goodwill, that way you still get a tax write off.
