I TOTALLY agree. I try my best not to spend more than $20, and that's variant only. Everything else just gets re-released in a revision pack or gets a comic or other combo pack. Or, a store late to restock has it, grocery or drug store. I did spend $65 for XFAA, but I got the subscription, and I do use it.

A couple of times I've bought from lcs, and found later at retail.
