I seriously love that those figures were released this way. It is so epically impractical that it instantly became awesome. Card/bubble packaging is really iconic and to see a company go that extra mile to put out giant, ridiculous figures in equally ridiculous packaging is fucking admirable. I have a lot of negative feelings toward Hasbro for cutting corners (constantly) but this is a step in the right direction to represent a conscience understanding of why toys/characters are so important in our lives. Nostalgia and quality, that is what keeps this habit going.
