while im not opposed to it, buying them for others requires time and materials to pack/ship, pay for postage, transfer paypal $ to my bank acct, etc etc.

unfortunately, i dont have time for that right now... but who am i kidding, LORD MARVEL has EVERYTHING!!
You are definitely a much stronger man than I. Symptoms of being a shopaholic make a lot of sense when it comes to my feelings about these toys, though I'd much rather chalk it up to OCD. I want to buy everything, if I get to keep it or not! I salute anyone who has the self-discipline to stay on a budget, especially if it is self-imposed.

Btw seen some avengers figs at wallys and TRU today, and I gotta say, I think they have learnt not to buy 20 cases of the first wave each. Cuz I only say about 10 figs in each store$ let's hope the pegs aren't cloGged wit Avengers stuff for a whole year Like IM2.
My Treasures! I pile them to the ceiling!

Lol. I just can't pass up anything I think is cool in the handful of lines I collect. It's a problem, believe me. 12-steps may be in my future.

That's a really good point about one case per store. It's nice to see them ease into it a bit this time. I wasn't around for the start of Thor or Cap, but I hope this approach is quite different.

It's true. I can honestly say that being able to provide stuff to people who can't get to it, or get to it reasonably is extremely rewarding.

And the majority of the collection I have is purely due to trades with fellow Arkers. It's amazing what a community can build!
