Plus I'd imagine his dependancy on such a gadget will only make it difficult for him once it's been inevitably broken or destroyed. I guess it comes down to the feeling i'm getting with the Character being changed too much, which is my own problem and no one elses. Progression is a good thing, but in this case I feel it's more of a sidestep. It reminds me of a cartoon influence by toys, not a cartoon influenced by story. But once again, this is just going by the trailer and the cartoon itself could be better.
I do want to like this show, and I will watch it to give it a go. Just like I did with Thundercats (which I strongly dislike after watching 10 episodes...).
Remember, my last comment on this was "from the inner me who really wants to like this cartoon". The rational part of me believes this is to sell Spidey Motorcycle Toys and nothing more.

While I can see how the style would not be to everyone's tastes, I will say that the fight scenes were incredibly well coreographed. The designs were really well thought out, especially little details like Peter's t-shirt label poking out from behind his neck. I also really liked Wolverine and the X-men.
Like you say, we'll find out soon!
YES. The fighting was incredibly well choreographed, this was among the many many things I loved about SSM. Also, I digress, "Hate" is such a strong word for what was really just minor annoyances with the art choices for the two characters in particular that I never really adapted to; Doc Oc and Green Goblin.
Thankfully the strong character development made me forget I didn't like how they were drawn (faces mostly) as I watched the show.
Oh don't get me wrong, I loved Wolverine and The X-Men, I was sad we weren't getting a season 2, especially after learning Deadpool was going to be a big part of it. It was the same gripe though, I disliked the way they drew Wolverine, and on an unrelated gripe I hated (no mistake with that word this time) the return to bitchy, whiny, Emo Cyclops from the 90's..."JEEEEAAAAAAN"
