Cool thanks for that. If it happened during Death of Spider-man then I didn't read it. I read these books for the stories and characters, and after killing of so many characters I enjoyed reading about I just lost interest. I never thought I'd say this, but I have grown to like Miles Morales' character. He's certainly no Peter Parker, and that is one of his greatest strengths of character. He has all new issues to deal with and new reasons to be Spiderman, new villains to overcome that are being introduced in a very interesting way.

While he's still very early in his Superhero career and has absolutely no idea what he's doing or even know what exactly he can actually do entirely, I can see the building blocks for very great stories down the line. It's exciting feeling like you're learning how to be a Superhero with Miles along the way.

He also has a slightly different power set than Peter. He has a camouflage ability that can pretty much make him invisible against any background and he has a venom type sting that resembles the DIM MAK in Kung Fu in that he can immobilize foes with a specific finger poke. He doesn't yet know or understand the full extent of this ability yet and is usually surprised when it works.
