(but it would be typical of Hasbro to screw up one of their best selling lines.)
theres is zero word on this, but the facts point to not scrapped.

heres the evidence

1 : recent reshelving in targets and most walmarts suggest that the series will continue, including lots of shelving slots. I can say that compared to a year ago, more walmarts and TRUs near my home now carry MU. Stores that didnt a year ago

2 : during MU's second year there was a giant delay between waves 1 and 2. Vision and Jean Grey wave came out around december, and HTS wasnt shipping wave 2, with Juggernaut and Colossus and Archangel untill May. So a delay isnt unexpected

3 : Hasbro is putting all their gear into the 3.75 Avengers series, and theres the new upcoming Amazing Spiderman 3.75 inch figures, so Hasbro is showing zero sign of abandoning the size. (I mean, look at GIJoe and Star Wars).

4 : Even though Vonner is gone, there are plenty of people working in the Marvel division of Hasbro, and while one person leaves, such as the top guy from ML in Toybiz after hasbro took it over, dosent mean its over. Its all sales, and as #1 states, Retailers are anticipating alot of MU.

5 : The only real speculation is that the series has been delayed due to the return of ML, which is under the same divsion and under the Marvel Universe Brand.

6 : Finally, Hasbro presented Brand New Offerings just a month ago at Toyfair, showing brand new sculpts and prototypes of figures we've only seen in photos as tests.

7 : the first 2012 wave with Storm and Psylocke is just hitting shelves this month. I've seen it. So technically by retail standards, its still going. weve had them longer because many of us go for online specialty retailers, who get them way faster than big retailers

8 : Relax. Untill Hasbro makes any real announcement, theres no reason to fear. Many people have gone into panic over situations that were deemed untrue. Its best to just wait and see. I wouldnt listen to any rumor untill sombody from hasbro stands up, and says "Hey, we are ending it" and even then, they would probably sell the stuff theyve produced in specialty stores, just like how they sold the cancelled Star Wars Comicpacks

and lastly, might I state, BBTS hasnt cancelled their preorders for the new comicpacks. Believe me, if Hasbro would cancel the stuff, BBTS would be the first to announce cancelations.
