[Snowflakian]

It's been a mixed bag. The hardest part for me though is almost none of these stories seem to have hinged on the marriage at all. It could still be intact and they could be told.

I'm also starting to get tired of the fact they never closed the faustian deal trope with the basic love conquers all angle as foreshadowed. It feels like it never ended without that, and just feels wrong.

So far the only highlights that stuck out to me have been Anti-venom, the new scarlet spider(which still needs more issues for a real verdict either way), and Future Foundation with Johnny Storm living with Petey now.

They also still have some minor plot holes to fill though that make it best left to not think about what they did. It feels weird that he even did the deal though now that he's going around and telling fellow superheroes who he is again which will take us eventually back to the main problem again.

As for Anti-Venom they've recently removed his suit, and sent Eddie on a mission to wipe out all symbiotes of venom's race. The new venom series has been fun at times, but it's really hard to feel sympathetic to Flash knowing he was the guy who used to bully Parker around. I know I know, they've grown up and matured. It just feels weird having him promoted to being a superhero now though as opposed to just being somebody that Parker has become friends with and helps. Making him a superhero, even an anti-hero, feels too much like a reward for being the bully in the supporting cast of a marvel mainstay.

As for Wacker. The writers that work under him do great work, I don't know whether to credit that to editor story choices, or the fact he's picking known great writers and artists anyway. I'll reserve that decision for when he does something with a complete unknown. He's also the editor for the female Ghost Rider series(pretty much does the urban marvel, and will be doing the upcoming Ms. Captain Marvel). It's kind of hard to really pick apart how much work the editor really does, or if he just acts as an "agent"(like in hollywood terms for writers/actors) for creatives within marvel.
