I haven't read the girl ghost rider, but the new DD, Spidey, and 52 were/are Wack-ed out, and they're all good by me.
Except editors aren't directors. They are more akin to Agents or Producers in the hollywood analogy(so in that bay analogy, he'd be more like Don Murphy, which okay yeah Wacker > Don Murphy). Their job is to make sure the story fits canon, has the right creative teams, pitch the creative's ideas to upper marvel staff for the greenlight, and all around areas like that. The writer is more like the director and screen writer(making all the real calls you see in the comic and writing the story), and the artist is like the cameraman and cinematographer.

He only re-told people he knew were cool with it before anyway- and Wolverine and Doctor Strange always knew.

But that gimmick where people supposedly would forget his identity when he put hs mask back on has been dropped- same with the X-Men gimmick where they could not be seen by technology or even cameras- it was too much to keep up with and limited the range of stories.

Peter also told one girl he was intimate with- and promptly got dumped for his trouble!
At least he got laid.
That's part of the plot hole part I was refering. All the previous pictures of him without his mask that still exist are blatantly ignored along with other bits that are weird. His hopping in the bed with all sorts of different women also is weird for his character. Makes him seem irresponsible and makes him come across as hypocritical when the same comes back around to him with instances of Black Cat with other heroes and him not being happy about it, among other issues. Telling a girl who he was dating is also borderline something from daredevil's hat that eventually led to backfiring(and led to his ID being out in the public). All around some elements of the comic are just best left not thinking about or it ruins them. That's part of my main complaint to the comic since OMD.
