While I admit the Thor line was handled VERY poorly, I really think ever since the IM2 line Hasbro has been handling all the movie lines VERY poorly. Bad case packouts, not enough villains/secondary characters, and of course retail didn't help by going wild loading up on the first waves. The Avengers are already suffering from those, while I know after the movie hits sales should pick up some I really think IMO that they should have split up the Avengers into all the waves rather than release all of them at once except for the anticipated Hawkeye and Widow. Truthfully with all the IMs still warming pegs in some areas, maybe he should have been held off til 3rd or 4th wave. Same goes for Thor and Cap. Then again all these re-releases/repaints from the previous movies ain't helping either.
