Except that was from the 80's! Jogn Byrne is stuck in the late 70's- and erly 80's- all of his characters look from that era.
It's a sad commentary on marvel that the writers and artists from our childhood were always about a decade behind reality- look at Dazzler circa 1984- still sporting disco and roller skates! Same with Luke Cage- looking and acting like a blacksploitation movie hero...in the 80's![/QUOTE]

Well, in my defense, I really didn't start reading alot of variety of comics til the 80s, during the 70s like most kids I was only open to the BIG characters i.e. Spiderman, Batman, and Superman at the time especially since I would get up every Saturday morning bright and early to watch Superfriends. Man, does that remind me that to this day I still love the theme but compared to today's comic cartoons, that show was really lame{sorry Wendy, Marvin, and Wonderdog}.
