No, nothing like that. They're your toys; they can be whatever you want them to be. I still refer to Universe 2.0 Overload as Classics Flak in my own collection.

I was just pointing out that SG Soundwave was never meant to reference his G1 counterpart, specficially. The Blue version of ML Soundwave has his "proper" color scheme and is used by a lot of fans to represent Classics SW, so FP used the Apple White version as his Shattered Glass counterpart.

SG Ravage (from 2010's set) also sports colors that he never had in G1. But SG Ravage's colors do homage the Kiss Players version of the mold known as Glit. There are a lot of non-G1 references in the Shattered Glass Universe.
