About a year ago or so I was asked about making Star Wars concept versions of Spiderman and Venom. Star Wars is not my forte, so I directed him to someone who could likely manage it better. That didn't work out, but a few months ago while working on a different figure I started to think about how I would do it. He was still interested so I started to work. I took a lot of ideas from Spiderman India, but didn't think the full mask fit the universe well. So, instead I went with the half mask and put the spider emblem on it as opposed to the chest as usual. The idea of the straps on his arms came while I was working on my Hydra Spiderman. Sith Venom coming next week!

I painted this guy a lot of different ways before settling on this look. The Ghost Rider legs seemed a good fit for the Star Wars esque feel, so I painted the boots, belt, and straps a dark brown while making the pants themselves lighter. The actual design of the torso came from the What If comic where Spiderman wore the red and black costume. Sculpted up the half mask, and used a pen to put the emblem on it.

Recipe:

Body - MU Havok
Legs/Right hand - MU Ghost Rider
Belt - MU White Hand Ninja
Head - A Joe, can't remember which
