Speaking of fleamarkets and random finds, I was at a local pawn shop this week and seen a huge optimus prime figure sitting randomly between a katanna sword an a vintage painting. So I asked the guy working there to take a look, so he takes it out and hands it to me, It was big, I want to say 12-13'' maybe more it was optimus g1 style colors and he was heavy I felt a lot of dicast. I didn't handle him long, so I don't have a lot of details to go on, He looks great, cept 1 major condition issue. on the chest piece, on 1 side there's a huge blob of what looks to be either plaster or whiteout hardend and plastered on the driverside front window. It maybe repairable it may not, but they were asking $50! Now the toy is big and heavy but is it worth that? especially in the condition described? wondering if any transformer fans/collectors may know of what figure I speak of. I looked to have good articulation, but I doubt it transformers. Kind of looked like a huge version of the revlotech prime figure. any ideas? I can probably talk them down on price, especially if it sits there for a week or 2.
