I sure was lucky, I realized that even more in the following weeks, mos., years, lol. I wasn't even into MU or 3.75" at the time. I drove across town in search of Transformers Animated Rodimus, no luck, drove back home empty handed. Decided to stop by the Pasadena TRU, still no Rodimus...I was also new to Toyark, and on the front page was the variant Havok and AA hitting retail news. So, low and behold, on the endcap, there they were!!!! Also went looking for more in the following days, to no avail. Also, as it turned out, I couldn't find these little fuckers again, variant or regular, for a year until the revision packs!!! I really had no idea what I had at the time...
But, they were my first official MU (as I had a couple XMO figures), and as I initially only wanted X-Men, I'll be damned if I don't buy almost everyone now!!!!
