The Transformers Prime Arms Micron Capsule Toys have just made their release in Japan, and that means the Japanese blog sites are starting to get some in-hand pictures of these cool new Targetmaster-styled partner figures up. The first set of four, featuring Optimus Prime Blaster, Bumblebee Sword, Zad and Gob, are showcased on this
Japanese blog site
. Optimus Prime Blaster and Bumblebee Sword are based on Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in Transformers Prime, and transform into new weapons for Optimus and Bumblebee to wield - a cool blaster similar to Optimus' O.P. Arms Micron and a wicked looking double bladed sword. Zad and Gob are new, come in two color variations (purple or black), and turn into some crazy looking melee weapons.
They're a pretty awesome set all things considered and worth taking a look at - especially when you also consider the "fan mode" that has come to us from Japanese image board 2Chan, showing a combined robot form using all six sets. At least, we're assuming it's a fan mode...
