Doesn't change my mind about watching anymore of this show, however, I wasn't aware that it was the number 1 rated show on Disney XD. I told you guys that Disney fan base was large. And Spidey does have a lot of non comic book reading fans from the movies alone.

That comment about this isn't a showtime show and they make it with kids in mind, makes me question what they intend on making with more mature fans in mind. What about us?

I think that's more than a bit condecending and insulting to both mature and child fans alike.
We know the show is aimed at kids. They all are. It's friggin' disney XD.
We, as a mature and adult auduiance are perfectly capable of accepting a well written children's show. Phineas & Ferb. My Little Pony: FiM (I know I know, not disney. But the example works).
Both are infinitely silly. Both extremely popular with adult fans. Neither dumb themselves down to children. They both accept that children are intellegent sentient creatures. And as such, are both very popular with adults.
