And from the looks of it the difference in the heads from those 2 packs is the one is a bit more bulky for the weapons platform guy compared to the silver armor one. Am I right?

Actually I borrowed a page from Hasbro's book, and just sculpted the armor details in the center of the weapons platform head. Aside from that they are exactly the same, but so are the figures' heads aside from the WM head being way smaller.
