I did the superglue trick at first when I had figures with loose joints but the glue I was using got all flaky white and gross. So I started using a different kind that worked better and doing my research online and while I haven't seen it proven so far but I heard that super glue degrades the plastic over time so I generally don't use it...
However, I started taking the little clear rubber bands that are used to hold figures in the tray and cutting them in half.
-Then I take the band and thread it around the loose joint and into space between the hip and the body and tie it off once.
-Then pull it tight until all you can see is the each end of band sticking out on either side of the hip.
-Snip off the excess band with scissors and bingo! you've tightened up the hip without using sticky and permanent glue.
- And then if its too loose or you want to sell it or trade the figure to someone as it was originally you can just carefully nick the band with the tip of an exacto knife and it'll unravel so you can take it off.
No damage done to the figure and everyone is happy.
And yes, I'm aware that might be an extremely confusing process without pics so I'm gonna take some today to better "illustrate" the point.
