Bandai has been very good about keeping costs down. But the new 19 and 17 valks are head and shoulders above the Bandai ones in terms of engineering. Is it worth nearly double? I dunno. To each their own, but for me it was worth it to pick them up.

That said, since I already have a 19 Fire and 17S, I don't think I can afford these ones with all the rest of the stuff coming out this year. Priorities. So I'll look to pick these up next year on sale or something. And they definitely will eventually go on sale. They're not like the Bandai valks where they sell out in a flash and there's no more.
