I guess in my mind, it always came down to picking your poison. Movie and other sub-lines generally get new sculpts for figure, but lesser articulation. MU uses a handful of body types with maybe a new headsculpt (sometimes not even that!) or accessories to get out new characters.

They've got a small hero (bucky mold), big hero (guardian), articulated hero (jl cyclops mold), big guy (thanos/juggy), and at least two lady molds (ms. marvel and x-23).

There's a lot you can make with those parts.
