You are right about that and I am not saying the BAFs were the sole reason, but part of it. I also think it was hard for Hasbro to do what had already been done by Toy Biz and the original concept for BAF was to make really big figures, and I really think they were running out of ideas that appeal to the casual fans and collectors.

Take me for example. I am not a die hard Marvel fan, infact I couldn't tell you a damn thing about the current BAF nor do I care to. I only care about which figures are the nicest looking in the set (I have yet to buiy any) and if it is a character I am familiar with. The older BAFs like Galactus, The Sentinal, and Apocolypse were must haves for me. Regardless of who was in those sets I had to have those BAFs. These newer ones... not really especially at $15 a wack for each figure. The only newer Hasbro BAFs that was worth while to me was Red Hulk, which all I ever got or needed was his head, and Fing Fang Foom which the stores in my area never got series 2 and I have no need for that many Hulks.

I will admit I was very dissappointed to see that they didn't even sculpt Ben Reilly's costume. Granted it was a big upgrade from Toy Biz's but still lazy.
