That is the same one I had, it was really detailed but just too damn big. I had to rig a pully to my ceiling just to get him to fit on my shellf (he had to lean forward in a way that the figure's sculpt did not allow, hence the need for an apparatus). I eventually sold him. They're pretty expensive.

I think you made the right choice, and from what I've seen so far the new AA Croc is pretty well made. I like that his jaw moves, I might put a severed arm in there if I ever decide to pick him up.
