Well the way you're suggesting is a lot more fun and will progress you through the game for sure, but you won't be getting as much cp for your time spent. For Electra, you're basically exchanging 10 energy for 1 guaranteed cp. If you do it your way, you're spending more energy and may or may not see a cp at all.

Because you're still fairly new to the game and have lots of missions to try and heroes to level up, it's probably best you don't farm Electra just yet. I've been playing a while and have 5 starred all missions so Electra is basically all that's left until new content comes out
