Nope. People that buy exclusives to sell in order to "offset their costs" are still scalping. It doesn't matter what you spend the money you gain on, you are still scalping.
Let's say I need a heart transplant and my co-pay is 1000 bucks. If I see 10 solid Vision figures at Walmart and I buy them so that I can make a quick 1000 bucks. That is scalping. It doesn't matter if I need that money to save my life, I still scalped those Vision figures.
and when somebody like HTS makes these available, that is just a bonus. It's nice that other folks get the chance to acquire these items.. but still, the only people who really have any claim to these figures are those that actually go to the convention.
If I go to the con, I should be able to buy the figure if I put in my time to do so. If I don't go to the con, I might still want to be able to get the figure, but I have no right to think that I deserve it
