Had to split them up because you can only post 20 images per post.
Battle Bomber:
The 'Bombers' as they are called in the show are quite special compared to other braves. They are quadruple changers. They transform from train to animal to robot and then to the combined robot's parts (Liobomber transforms two ways for the chest. Does that make him a five changer?). A The vehicle mode was sacrificed for this feature.
Originally the Bombers consisted of three members. Lio Bomber (Green), Dino Bomber (Grey) and Bird Bomber (Red). They can combine into Tri Bomber. They were badly damaged in the battle against Ace no Joe and were put out of commision for a while. Horn Bomber was brought into service to fill in for them. Once the original Bombers were repaired, Horn Bomber is added to their combination to form Battle Bomber.
This is the Bombers in train mode. Only Lio Bomber and Horn Bomber really LOOK like the trains. There is too much kibble on Dino and Bird Bomber (Who share similar transformations into combine mode and robot mode so they have the same kibble). Also all oif them have unsightly gaps and animal kibble showing here and there but its really a limitation of making quadurple changers.
The main feature of the Bombers is the animal mode. These are probably their best modes. Theres not really any articulation here. Dino Bomber has a bit of leg movement and arm movement. Bird Bomber can flap its wings and also close them. Lio can look forward or down. Horn Bomber has NO articulation whatsoever. Pretty nice but Horn Bomber is inferior to the other Bombers.
Their robot modes look very similar to nearl ever other train-former. Sadly Dino Bird and Horn Bombers do not have perfect transformations to this stage. For Dino and Bird Bombers you need to detach the front of the train and move the parts that become Tribomber's hips to the back of the train and then reattach them into a different socket. For Horn Bomber you need to detach the front of the train AND the Rhino head with it and the front oof the train goes onto the bottom of the train and the Rhino head needs to be reverse for the Horn Bomber's robot face. Kind of disappointing but thats another problem with quadruple changers. Horn Bomber is the only one without a melee weapon but he comes with a shield...
The Bombers can make the Animal Express which is just all the animal parts flip forward and Lio Bomber's Lion head flipped out. This is used I'm assuming for the 'Joint Dragon Fire' Special in the show.
His appearance in TriBomber mode looks a lot like Liner Dagwon. But with more kibble. He has shoulder articulation and thats it. His head is sunk in a bit so head-on shots show very little of his head. Its a good and stable form.
Once Horn Bomber is added to the mix he becomes a slightly different look robot. He now has the lion head on his chest and a added chest plate. He has also gained wings and a cannon (Not unlike Super Liner Dagwon). His Rhino head is very similar to the head designs for the Braves from the next series Goldran. Its different enough in this robot mode. At least it doesnt just add a pair of boots and get it over with.
Overall its a nice set with its short comings. It is my belief that the Super Liner Dagwon set was based on this but with better tech so the vehicle modes look more 'complete'.
